CAIRO – March 7, 2022: In light of the “Africa for Digital Creativity” initiative, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has asked the government to expand digital cooperation with African countries by encouraging Egyptian companies from information technologies (ICT) to cooperate with their African counterparts to build integrated digital systems.
During a meeting on Monday with Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Mabdouli and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat, President Sisi also ordered the government to provide specialized technical training to African youth in various fields. related, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
The President stressed the importance of using the latest technologies to double the capabilities of the state’s digital information infrastructure, alongside training human cadres in various areas of digital skills to support government performance and provide the latest digital services to citizens and the business sector.
The Minister of Communications presented a review of a number of ongoing projects in the communications and information technology sector. He informed the president of the project to create a city of knowledge in the new administrative capital, Rady said.
