The voting portal for the 2022 edition of the All-Africa Music Awards (AFFIRM) opened today, Sunday, September 25, 2022, to the public, to nominate winners in each of the 39 categories.
All African music lovers are invited to vote intensively through the live voting portal at www.AFRIMA.org, from today until the portal closes on December 10, 2022, the day before the awards ceremony .

The list of nominees has a total of 382 entries in a total of 39 categories. The nominations, which have been enthusiastically received around the world, are the result of a rigorous 10-day selection by the 13-member jury of the All-Africa Music Awards in July.

The All Africa Music Awards 2022 will be held from December 8 to 11, 2022. A special announcement will be made about the host country and the awards venue on September 30, 2022.
The All-Africa Music Awards ceremony will feature a 4-day party of music, glitz and glamor designed to celebrate Africa, recognize talent and expand the economic frontiers of culture and the creative industry on the continent.

The list of nominees includes 29 continental award categories and 10 regional award categories for public voting. The remaining category for the “Legend Award” will be announced at the gala.
This year, the category “Best Soundtrack for a Motion Picture, Series or Documentary” was again included, due to the availability of quality entries. The category was dropped last year due to lack of entries.
